Adrian Bates, Change Agent
Adrian is a post graduate of Aston University, with twenty years experience of people and organisational transformation/change gained within FMCG, Manufacturing, Technology, Telecoms, Services and Financial Services industries. He commenced his working life within Learning and Development before moving into mainstream HR. He has worked in all HR domains - Reward, Resourcing, Employee Relations, OD, as well as Learning and Development, mostly within FTSE 100 companies, namely GEC Marconi, Smiths Group, Prudential and Cable and Wireless, reaching HR Director level. He also has had extensive experience of mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds, downsizings, re-structurings, outsourcing, offshoring and TUPE transfers.
Recent assignments have seen him working with senior and middle management in delivering strategic, capability and cultural change thereby creating flexible and agile organisations with sustainable competitive advantage. Delivering revenue and operating margin growth though substantial improvements in quality, productivity, customer service and innovation. Specific skills are organisation design and development, leadership development, talent management and succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and employment branding
